1The prints

What can I buy from Paul Cézanne Prints?

Every artwork comes in up to three formats: an unframed poster, a stretched canvas and a framed poster. Canvas prints and framed posters arrive ready to hang. Posters arrive unframed, ready for a frame of your choice. The prints compares them side by side.

Are these originals or reproductions?

They are fine art reproductions of works by Paul Cézanne, printed for your order by our print partners. You get the composition, colour and detail of the painting at a size and price made for a home.

Which materials do you use?

Posters and framed posters are printed with archival pigment inks on 250 gsm fine art paper. Canvas prints use a cotton-polyester canvas of 300–350 gsm, stretched on 4 cm FSC-certified wood bars. Framed posters have a wood or black frame and a UV-protective acrylic front.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Very closely. Every screen shows colour a little differently, so small shifts in brightness or warmth are normal and are not a defect. Marks of age that are part of the original painting are reproduced too.

Can I buy the print without a frame?

Yes. Choose the poster format. It is printed on fine art paper and arrives unframed, gently rolled in a sturdy tube, ready for a frame of your choice.

2Sizes and framing

Which sizes are available?

Sizes depend on the format and on the artwork, and every product page lists the sizes that piece comes in. Each artwork is offered in its own orientation, portrait or landscape. The size guide on the product page draws every size to scale.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the furniture or wall space the piece will hang above. A reliable rule is that artwork should be about two thirds of the width of the furniture below it. Hang it so its centre is about 145 cm (57 in) from the floor.

Which frame colours can I choose?

Framed posters come in the frame colours shown on each product page. Choose the colour before you add the piece to your cart.

Is the front glass or acrylic?

Framed posters have a UV-protective acrylic front, not glass. It is lighter and safer than glass, which matters in homes with children or pets. If the front has a thin protective film when it arrives, peel it off gently.

Does it arrive ready to hang?

Framed posters and canvas prints arrive ready to hang: the print is already in its frame, or stretched on its bars, and the hanging hardware is included. Posters arrive unframed and need a frame.

3Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Each time is the total number of business days from the day you order to the day your piece arrives, production included. To the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe: posters 3–6, canvas 4–7 and framed posters 5–8 business days. To Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates: 6–10, 8–13 and 10–16. These are estimates, not guaranteed dates. The delivery dates page counts them for you.

Which countries do you deliver to?

We deliver to 37 countries: the United States, the United Kingdom and 30 European countries in our core network, and Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates in our extended network. We do not deliver anywhere else. Every country is listed in our shipping policy.

Is shipping free?

Yes. Shipping is free to every country we serve, on every order, with no minimum order value. Import charges, where they apply, are separate.

Can I pay for faster delivery?

No. Every order travels on the same free tracked service, and there is no express option. Because each piece is made for your order, we cannot promise delivery by a specific date, so allow a few extra days before an occasion.

Where is my piece made?

Each piece is made to order by our print partners. In our core network it is printed in the same region as your delivery address: the United States, the United Kingdom or Europe. In our extended network a regional partner prints it and an international courier delivers it.

Will I pay customs or import charges?

Not for deliveries within the United States or the United Kingdom, or within the EU and Monaco. Deliveries to Norway, Switzerland and our extended network may be charged import duties, taxes or fees on arrival. These are set by your local authorities, are not included in our prices and are paid by the recipient. See customs and import charges.

Can I change my delivery address, or use a PO box?

An address can be corrected only before production starts, so write to us straight away with your order number. We do not deliver to PO boxes, APO, FPO or DPO addresses, or to parcel and freight forwarding services.

4Tracking and parcels

How do I track my order?

When your order is dispatched, we email you the tracking details so you can follow it to your door. If it travels in more than one parcel, each has its own tracking number.

Why did my order arrive in more than one parcel?

Items in one order can be made at different production sites, so a larger or mixed order can arrive in separate parcels, sometimes on different days. Your order is complete when every parcel has arrived.

My order has not arrived. What should I do?

Check the estimate for your piece and country, and the latest tracking update. If your order has not arrived 10 business days after the end of its estimated window, write to us with your order number and we open a lost parcel claim. If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, we send a free replacement. Reports made more than 30 days after the end of the window cannot be accepted, unless the law requires it.

Tracking says delivered, but I do not have it

Check with your neighbours, your building reception, any parcel locker or pickup point, and the carrier. If you still cannot find it, tell us within 7 days of the recorded delivery date. We open an investigation with the carrier, which usually takes 5–10 business days.

How is my order packed?

Framed posters get corner protectors, wrap and cardboard I-beams in a reinforced box. Canvas prints get corner protectors and wrap in a snug box. Posters are gently rolled into a sturdy tube with end caps. Keep all packaging until you have checked your piece.

5Returns and refunds

What is your returns policy?

Every piece is made for your order alone. If it arrives damaged, defective or wrong, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we replace it free of charge. We do not accept change-of-mind returns, unless the law of your country gives you a right of withdrawal. Read our refund policy.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Email support@paulcezanneprints.art within 7 days of the delivery date recorded by the carrier, with your order number and photographs: the whole piece from about 1 metre, a close-up, all sides of the box and the shipping label. Keep the piece and all packaging. We reply with our decision within 2 business days, and once we confirm the claim we send a free replacement.

What counts as a defect?

We look at a piece as it would be seen on a wall, from about 1 metre in normal light. A printing error, torn or creased paper, a cracked frame or a broken front are defects. Colour differences from your screen, signs of age in the original painting, natural texture variation and size differences of up to 1 cm are not. See what counts as a defect.

Can I return a piece if I change my mind?

Every piece is made to order, so we do not accept change-of-mind returns. Where the law of your country gives you a right of withdrawal, you can withdraw within 14 days of receiving the piece, without giving a reason, using our online withdrawal form. You pay the direct cost of returning it.

How long does a refund take?

We process an approved refund within 5 business days, to your original payment method, with no fee. Your bank may then take 3–10 business days to show it. For a withdrawal, the 14-day limit in our refund policy applies instead.

6Orders and payment

Which payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards, plus the express wallets shown at checkout where they are available in your country. Payments are encrypted and handled by our payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, before production starts. Production begins shortly after your payment is confirmed, so write to us as soon as possible with your order number. An order cancelled before production is refunded in full.

Can I send a piece as a gift?

Yes. Enter the recipient’s address at checkout and we deliver straight to them. Because there is no express option, allow a few extra days before an occasion.

How do I hang and care for my piece?

Framed posters and canvas prints come with hanging hardware. For 70 × 100 cm and larger, use two fixings or a wall anchor rated for the weight. Dust with a dry microfibre cloth, never use glass cleaner on acrylic, and keep pieces out of direct sunlight and away from damp.

How do I flatten a rolled poster?

With clean, dry hands, unroll the poster on a clean, flat surface and gently roll it the other way for a minute. Then lay it flat, cover it with a sheet of clean paper and rest a few heavy books on the corners for 24 to 48 hours. Never iron or fold a poster.
